Watercolor and Ink on Paper fixed to Wood Panel
24” x 24”
Ready to Hang
About this Piece:
This was a test for my honors research project senior year. I digitally drew an image in Adobe Software on my computer and had it printed on a large piece of paper. I attempted to stretch the paper by soaking it in a water bath and fixing it to a panel as it dried. However, when I painted on it with watercolor (orange dress and pencil, gray background) the paper buckled after all. I still love the image, but decided to use a different method for the final project.
Damage: some may consider the buckling of the paper as damage, there is also a tear in the upper right hand corner.
