This painting has thick paint strokes and visceral scratches. It was inspired from an educational visit to the Renee Jones Empowerment Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The intent of this piece is to show the frightening reality of human trafficking which is both unseen and right in front of our eyes. It depicts a young person under neon lights.
